Baitcaster fraying line.

I have a Quantum Acccurist ACS 400. It is fraying the line. I believe it might be the levelwind(?) eyelet. This is my first baitcaster, so maybe they all do this. Is there a fix for this?

Eric, What kind of line are you currently using?
This problem should not happen with any type of reel. Sounds like a defective eye, Either your reel or your rod. Did you try different line?
