Do all GPS have speed option?

I've read the posts on the handheld GPS and had a few more questions. Do most of the models under $250.00 show speed? Also, I'm just looking to be able to mark a spot where I caught a fish and possible figure out how to get home.
With those being my main goals, what should I buy?

As far as I know all GPS have speed whether it is a hand held or a fixed.
