what are the key factors for having tournamnet success? eg the PWT where it seems a small group seems to do consistently well, what sets them apart? I fish small local tournaments as I can't afford the costs of the boat etc for larger scale ones but follow the PWT events etc like someone would follow NASCAR etc appreciate any imput thankx....

Steve Ill get this one started.Most if not all of you touring pros are working as a network. they work with several individuals or teams and share info and techinques, and locations.They often split earnings up between those in the circle. how that individual tweeks the info or presentation usually makes him shine over his team mates.It makes it hard for a new guy to do real well in long run unless he gets in a group.Ive seen it happening even on our state levels the last few years.Face it if youve got 6 boats prefishing over one whos going to find the pattern 99% of the time ?
