I've got a "Fishing Hot Spots" map and have a couple of questions.

1: Where does the Delphine Channel cut out to? Does it go straight out (S.E) to the shipping channel or to the Detroit River (S)?

2: At some points on the chart it says "depth over crib 5 feet" or "depth over crib 16 feet". What does this mean?

Don't have chart handy but a crib is a structure, like what a navigational aid is mounted on. The St Clair Light (14?) is refered to as the "crib light".

the delphine runs from almost the shoreline out to the shipping channel. it runs at a s.e. angle at times it can be a great place to fish. there's almost always fish there but they can be real tough to catch. if your going to spend alot of time fishing st clair and either river, spend the $16 and get a NOAA 50 page (11x17) map of those waters. lakeside and E&B marine plus other places carry the book.
