About ready to purchase some walleye jigs for casting 4" grubs. They offer several different sized hooks for each weight up to 2/0. Is a 2/0 shank hook to large? They also have 1 and 1/0 but want the hook to come out of the grub as close to the tail as possible and not have to pinch off any length. Thanks

Jack's Jig's make a great line of jigs that have all sizes of hooks and wt's to chose from. I had the same difficulty finding the right size jig for 5" sassy chad body's. If the hook is way to smale for the bait you miss most of the hits or they role off.
