Anyone out there driving a 1-Tpm 4X4 Duramax that can give me an idea as to gas mileage? What gear ratio are you running.

Thanks,

I have the 3/4 4x4 with the allison/dmax. I get 17-18 around town, 20-21 highway. Towing my old boat @ 4800 lbs. I got 16-17.

I have 14,000 miles on it without a single problem.... The power of the dmax is awesome!!

I have a 2002,D-Max/Allison, one ton,4x4, ext. cab, long box. I have got 11 to 14 mpg when hauling a 3500# slide-in and pulling a 19' Lund. Around town best is 16 to 17 mpg. Truck has a lot of power and has had only two minor problems. I would buy this truck again. Just rolled 3000 miles and millage should get better as truck gets more miles on it. Just so you know I have always had Fords and this is my 1st diesel. I would not bother to tell you this if I was bs-ing. Hope this helps you out. Oh, my Fords were good trucks as well.:)

I have a one ton with duramax and get about 19.5 mpg running 65mph with no wind--just can't get twenty. I pull a Lund Pro Vee 1900IFS with 200 Opti and get about 16 mpg. I also get about 16 mpg running around.
