need recommendation for fishing lodge

I neeed a recommendation for a quuality remote fishing lodge. since my wife is coming it has to be very comfortable as well . needs to be in pristene setting with excellent fishing and good guides that will assist bewbys if necessary thanks ron

For what you describe, Grassy Narrows Resort in the island area (Aulneu Penninsula) of Lake of the Woods should be ideal. Be prepared to gain weight -- meals are super. They are out of Morson, Ontario, a 30 minute boat ride from where you park your car. You could track them down by checking Baudette, MN area resorts, or try Morson. Was just at Thunderbird Lodge in Ontario. Great American plan, guides, food and caught 27 1 1/2 inch walleye plus many over 22 and northerns up to 43". A great outfit. I've stayed at their outpost camps also.

rockyview lodge, denare beach saskatchewan. 20 minutes west of flin flon mb. 5star accomodation. good fishing and scenic canadian shield wilderness well worth the drive. pavement all the way and very reasonable prices. i've been there three or four times and i have found it excellent. check for their website it has pictures,rates and all the info you need.

Anderson's Lodge outside Sioux Lookout Ontario is the absolute best. The fishing on Lac Seul, Big and Little Vermilion and others are terrific for walleyes, smallmouth bass, muskies, northerns and lake trout. It's a drive-in lodge. The accomodations are five star. The restaurant brings them in for miles. The staff is comprised of the nicest folks in Canada and the guides are top notch.They put you on fish and fix the best shore lunch you can imagine as you watch eagles dive to snatch a fish from to the water's surface.
