Does anyone have info on either pursuit or Berts rod holders and how to buy them now. I have the plastic ones (track mounted) and I need to upgrade to the Stainless.

Lakeside Fishing Shop (www.lakesidefishingshop.com) carries the line of Berts products. Their phone # is (586) 7777-003.
GAnder Mountain also carries Berts stainless rod holders, but they are out of stock often and do not get new stock as regularly, so your wait might be long.

Have you looked at Tite-Lok? I pretty much stick to walleye in Erie and they work great for me trolling dipsies. I know Bert's are great but the Tite-Loks are less than half the price. Just suggesting an alternative to look at.

I believe pursuit is new name for Berts. Story goes Berts sold out, buyer couldn't make a go of it so Berts bought it back, legal problems had to change name.

BullFrog,
I have to second the TiteLock suggestion that Ricky suggested. I have had mine since last fall and have had zero problems. I fish walleye and salmon. They are at least 33% cheaper than the BigJons and Berts (Pursuit). They are anodized aluminum and not stainless. Good luck!

Thanks for all the help. I ordered the holders this morning. BTW to those who suggested the Tite-lock, I already had the tracks on my boat for the Berts, But I have used them in the past and they were great.

Are the Pursuit (Berts) tracks the same size as the Tite-Lok? That is, will the rodholders from my Tite-Lok fit in the Pursuit track and vice-versa?

IN-Fisherman, the Loc-tite bases will not fit the Pursut (Bert's) base without modifaction. If you have a milling mach. it's and e-z job and Lock-Tite is cheaper and just as good as Bert's

What I have is some RAM Rod Holders that fit the Tite-Lok tracks. I want to know if my rod holders will fit in the Pursuit tracks. Pursuit makes a mount that fits in a flush mount with an 18" track on top. I think it is perfect for me - I have a Ranger 617 - walls (gunnels) not wide enough for tracks. This way I have a few flush mounts only. I need to be sure the RAM holders will slide into the Pursuit tracks. Anyone ??
