How does nighttime differ from daytime fishing? Different lures? Different technique? Trolling, casting, or drifting? I want to try this but need advice. Thanks for your help.

For walleye as weed growth emerges try trolling Rapala's over the weed tops at dark and after. Husky jerks and original Rapala's work well also bombers and Thin Fin's. If the water is stained you may need to try a Rattle Trap or Rattling Rap to get there attention and cover ground more efficiently. You may pick up a big bass or two this way as well. With the moon soon going into a full stage this cranking method is a good bet!

Casting jigs up on humps and rock bars is another good choice along with slip bobbing with lighted bobbers. Leach's and shiners work well on bobber methods in most waters.

In very shallow weedy waters try a spinner harness with a large Colorado blade and a spit shot or a smalle cone style sinker. This rig can be drug over weeds using the electric motor at slow speeds. If using night crawlers have the hook's unexposed, don't push them all the way through the crawler to help keep weeds off the big Colorado blade will also help.

These are a few and there are more good ways that others may share. Hope this is a help!
