I had a cudde no flash... I put it over bait and sometimes wouldnt get any pics. I sold that camera 2 years ago and I now have 4 bushnell trophy cams and love them. Great pics, incredible battery life, small size, ect......I wont ever buy a cudde again which sucks because they are made right here in WI where as my bushnells are made in asia:huh:

i did a test earlier this year.
i took my cudde attack IR and set it right next to a 50 dollar Hunten IR camera (thats 50 dollars, new) turned them on 30 second delay and came back in 3 days
the cudde took somewhere like 17 pictures and most of the night ones were blurry. the hunten took 40ish, with only two of them being blank IIRC. i couldnt be more unhappy with it. it eats batteries in the cold and the picture quality is equal to or lesser than the absolute cheapest cam i could find

sorry. the cudde. i am very unhappy with it.
i have sent various complaints to cudde with pictures attached and they claim it is camera placement, dirty lens, or moisture buildup on the lens

I have some of those Bushnell units and they work then I bought a Bushnell HD unit and I'm about to send it back for the 2nd time. First time it didn't take photos and now it takes hundreds of a bare field. The bushnell's are finicky as to which brand SD chip they use but Bushnell will not tell you which one to buy.

I bought a Moultrie M100 and had to send it in right away because it was taking 100's of a bare field. its been working good so far.

I have scandiscs and kodak SD cards and they all work fine in my bushnells...

My last cudde was a no flash and iut chewed through batts like no tomorrow. I used to put it over piles of corn and the corn pile would be gone and I wouldnt get any pics.. It was horrible...I had this camera about 5 years ago and it doesnt sound like they got their act together... which sucks that a local company that once owned the industry let their control slip away do to poor products...:lovit:

does anyone use an LED camera?
i have been seeing them now and then on some outdoor shows and didnt know how well they worked at night, and their effective trigger range

i am just glad i am not the only one who has had issues with no pictures on their cuddebacks

The Sandisk SD card are the ones that worked with Bushnell's.

All of the ones I have used are the LED type. The Bushnell's In my option do not have a good nigh illumination range and that is the reason the batteries last so long. The Moultrie M-100 has a super Illumination range but will go through batteries so I have been using a 12volt gel cell from my Vexilar.

The Cuddes have been real good with batteries for me, they are still on their first sets since September. I did have an issue right away with batteries but I feel it was the batteries because I changed them and they are good to go now.

I talked to the manufacturer and they said the cards should be no more than a 1 gb SANDISK card, any more or anything else can make for issues.

I have noticed I can trust the cameras more when I do use the 1 gb Sandisk cards but the main problem is where do I get more? I can't find any. Does anyone know where I can buy some.

I have three Cuddeback Capture, flash cameras out. The oldest is on its third full year or maybe fourth. Time keeps flying. They take by far the best pictures then my others which are a Bushnell and a Moultrie.

I have not been able to find any one gig Scandisk SD cards so have been using two gig Scandisks. So far so good. Several hundred pictures taken so far this year. Here is one of them:

Done with cameras, if I want to see a deer I will go sit in a stand and be there when they walk by.:antlers:

To answer your question, there are no pics every couple frames on the IR's and the standard flash cameras just plain cra$ out trying to take pics consistantly besides they are terrible at nite for decent consistant pics.

No biggy, I'd rather be suprised at what walks by anyway, pictures were actually starting to be a hobby instead of actually hunting was.:exactly:
