could someone please tell me the hot color's in jig heads and bodys when it come to fishing for walleye's in the rivers & are leeches better then worms to use to cover the jig hook.....thanks

Jig's and plastics always seem to be more experimental.I normally have to use different colors to find out what works best for that day.
I also find that crawlers cover the hook much better than leeches,I fish them in weeds all the time and don't get hooked up nearly as much as I do with leeches.

Hey Jere,

I spend a lot of my time jigging. The tactic is really a hands on approach and always experimental. You have to do it alot to see what I mean.

Take a few moments and,please, go to my Pro Page here on Walleye Central. I have several articles specifically about using jigs. The tactic, colors , tipping and live bait, is explained much better and in more detail than I can explain it here.
