I have some minor scratches, not gouges, in my synthetic rifle stock. Not making myself sick over it by any means, but I am curious if there is a way to remove or rub them out.

Consider them character. Not worth trying to get them out.

For black stocks I've used "Testors" model spray paint, flat black enamel.

Blended in perfect on 2 Bell & Carlson stocks after I glass bedded them.

It blended in perfect, and was very easy to use (My wife would tell you, I'm no "Painter" !!) I removed the barreled action first before painting.

I got mine over at "Fields Hobby Shop" over on Union, near Walden Ave.
