Looks like the Western Final is going to an other series that should be for the cup again. Watch out Wings fans, can't see the AVS offense lagging so much two years in a row, going to be a barn burner next year for sure. Bring it on!


P.S.: I still think they are buying a shot at the CUP but you can't truly buy a cup, the 'caines making it so far proved you don't need many multi-million dollar players to make it to the finals. CUJO and Smellios (not going into this one just don't like his style of play, and thats from a players perspective not an AVS fan's) taking less money just proves that they want to win and think they can, its why in the late 90s Sakic took the same contract with only half the signing bonus, he wanted to win. If teh Wings keep re-bolstering their rosters with super stars every year the Wings vs. AVS series are going to get only better (sticking to my statement that the AVS develop more of their roster then the WINGS but hey the WINGS just might get some of those young guns up to snuff if they keep on top with the free agents and then the WESTERN CONFRENCE will rule for a long time).

P.S. Yes Kevin, I noticed your restraint in not mentioning how we we're "buying" another Cup. I commend you for your statement on buying the chance at a run for the Cup and hoping it all works out in the end. Vancouver got our heads in the Game and gave the "wake-up call" we needed. The Colorado Series swung on just a couple of great plays until the Seventh game and then that was a flukey blowout not normal for 2 teams of this caliber. This Cup was earned and they'll have to be just as ready at playoff time next year. Stevie will be back to full strength and speed by then. Spend more time on your books this year, your grade point must be slipping if you're spending this much time with the Avs! Maybe if you get smart enough, we can make you an honorary Wings Fan.

I think I'll keep my 4.7 GPA and continue on my year and a half of college credits by HS graduation plan as it is. Maybe if I take "Cynder block use 101" I'd fit in with the Wings fans, ;) but since that won't fit in with my intro quantum mechanics and Thermodynamic chemistry all too well I think I'll stick with my intended class load. Sorry you'll have to do without me.


P.S. Yeah I know I should take more english and keyboard courses so I can type better but where would the fun in that be?

No lies, ever heard of International Bacheloriate program? Well thats what I do, all weighted classes and college courses in 6 subjects in both the Junior and Senior years of High School, plus the Senior year we are encourage to enroll in college courses out side of the school. If you think I am full of it do a little checking in your area there are 200 IB High Schools in the country, there has to be one somewhere near you are.

On a serious note, some of us that graduate back in the 70 have no idea what that stuff is. What us Michigan Grads know for a fact it that if you spend around 70 million a season and get the players you need you got a darn good chance of winning the cup.

I am just a hockey fan, but First and foremost an AVS fan. Wings play great hockey even if I dislike their management technique or team building strategy. As fas as pertaining to my education and future to both you and SUPER I say thanks. I hope to graduate and recieve my Pediatric Neurology training and certification and end up in a nice comfy private practice. Hope to eventually own a couple houses too, one here in the Colorado Rockies, one up North in walleye land and one some place tropical to just kick back and relax at. Its going to take a lot of hard work but its a goal worth working too in my mind. As for being a Rocket Scientist SUPER I don't think they'd let me have any fun in that job, I'd always want to be making things that explode.
