For you guys out there that fish electric motor only lakes
: how long can you fish before your battery/s are dead ? And what size/brand battery/s do you have ? What size motor do you have ?

I have a 30# thrust motor and a 24 series Crown battery. I can run about 5 hours of constant trolling on a full charge before the battery is completely discharged. I am also running a fishfinder off of the same battery.

I am curious as to how much longer I could go if I added a second battery. Or if I had spent the money for a 27 or 29 series battery.

If you go to a group 31 battery you can likely triple the amount of time on the water. A very big difference between a group 24 and a group 31.
