I have a 42lb T-Plus Motorguide with your, normal, clamps to the battery connection. Inadvertantly, i connected the cable backwards, red to negative, black to positive and the gears work just the opposite, 5 for R and 2 for F. I ran it like this for about 30 min. with no noticeable damage. Does this harm anything or have i discovered a new way to back troll without buying a new motor?
