f-115 yamaha oil problem.

I have a 2001 115 four yamaha four stroke. recently when you check the oil it is overful 10 ounces or so. I know this is gasoline but is anyone having this problem?

I have a 2000 Yamaha 100, noticed when I changed the oil that the filter was empty! Kinda got me worried and checked my engine dipstick. It appeared a bit low so added to the "top" mark and after that always went above that mark. Drained unit yesterday and put back required amount. Haven't run her yet to see if different level when back on trailer. What are you pushing with the 115?

have a 2001 115 as well---noticed my oil level was a little above the line since i have had it as well---every time it has been changed--figuered the deeler knows best never had any trouble and have many hours on it so ill keep it hte same ???IGUESS??? good luck keep us informed on what you find out----what a sweet moter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
