I need to get an anchor for a 619 or 620 Ranger? Any suggestions. Thanks in advanced! Anchor Boy

hi
take a look at the richter anchors...
www.richteranchors.com
med. or lg. size
hold in all kinds of bottoms and have fluking to hold and a release so you don't lose it in tight spots...won't get stuck with the release design

A Water Spike 9# will hold your boat, and it comes apart to store flat in your boat.

That's the one I used on my 620 last year. Worked every time. Just make sure you have 150' of rope.

If you make sure that your 150 feet of rope, is nylon - rather than poly -- it will stretch for the big waves. Hook on a piece of chain to the anchor as well. Really helps the spike dig in.

Take care

Grampa Joe:

I'm looking for an anchor to hold a similar boat (690VS), but am not sure whether you say you have the Richter or water spike--I'm guessing from the order of the messages that it's a water spike--am I right?

Thnx!
