Heres a question I get asked alot by young hunters, "what do you think is the most important item in your bag while bow hunting?".

I thought this would be a fun topic for bowhunters. So I ask you guys and gals, if you were allowed to carry ONLY 2 extra items into the woods what would those items be? The stuff you need to shoot your bow with are not counted like releases and such. I am talking about things you don't really need but you would feel naked in the woods without them. (I assume you are wearing cloths )

My two things are a grunt tube and binoculars, I would be a mess in my stand without either.

cell phone and range finder. range finder for obvious reasons, and cell phone to entertain myself and to use in case of emergency (fall out of a stand for example)

Compass? Yeah, GPSs are nice, but the batteries don't last forever...

And something to start a fire with...

I'm assuming that you are hunting in a place where it is entirely possible that you could get lost and not be able to get back before dark.

If you've got cell service where you're at, you're not all that remote...

Extra long johns and TP.

I found when it's cold and you wear too many cloths getting to where you'll set up, you sweat like crazy. Once on your stand the sweat freezes. Carry your jacket rather than wear it. Pack extra underwear and a towel. once arriving at your stand, towel off and change your undies. You'll thank me for this for sure.

Did the op ask anything about being in a remote area?
