Do you find that no matter which lakes, walleyes will roam over deep water and suspend during the entire year or most likely the warm water temps?

No - totally dependent on the lake or river and on the primary forage. And even if the majority of fish suspend on a given lake there will still be fish relating to structure. Keep in mind that the term "Deep" is relative. In some lakes, deep is less that 10'.

in some lakes here in Sweden you find eyes suspended in 10-20ft where water is over 50-70 deep but i guess its depending on forage like in theese lakes theres smelt & they go out in pellagic waters at times &if you see big schools of baitfish try to mark it if you got gps & cross that point couple of times cause all predatory fish goes where the food is. This rule applies for salmons&browns too

I think at some time there will be fish suspended. It is a tough job to find these fish though.Put alot of baits down and cover some ground and you may be the one to find some good fish when nobody else is willing to find these fish. But the main thing is you must have a bait fish or a bug hatch to have fish suspended. No bait no fish. Also they could be very high in the water column and you will not see them on your locator then it is even tougher to target these fish.Good Luck.If you find these fish your after letus know how it turns out.

I believe that probably all lakes that have walleyes have a suspended population. But to say that they have them all year would be wrong. Even in shallow natural lakes with mud bottoms and only 12-14 feet of water, walleyes often go out and suspend over the main basin of the lake after spawning for up to 2-3 weeks (or longer if there is a lot of food out there). They may be only 4-6 feet down over 12 feet of water depending on water clarity and amount of baot traffic.
Any lake that has walleyes and pelagic baitfish (smelt, alewives, shad and some kinds of shiners) will have some walleyes relating to them. They spend most of their lives following these roving schools of bait. However, even the bait will come in to spawn at some time during the year, and the walleyes will follow. This may be on the rocky shorelines, riprap, shallow rocky shoals, or in the case of some bait, it might be up a tributary stream. A couple examples of this that I have experienced are the big walleyes that follow alewives onto the dam on May and June nights at Lake McConaughy; and the fall run of walleyes following shiners up the Rainy River from Lake of the Woods. I'm sure I could come up with several other examples.
Yes I believe that there are suspended walleyes in virtually every lake that has walleyes. Sometimes they suspend for a relatively short period, in other locations, they spend the majority of their lives suspended.
Hope this helps.
