I took my new boat out this weekend. While I went to get the truck my wife (whose body will never be found) roughed up the edges of the new prop. Will this effect the performance of the boat with the edges roughed up a little from hitting some rocks or will I have to take it off and have something done. A guide told me not to file the dings down but to use two hammers and flatten it back out that way by pounding on one side with the other hammer as a base on the other side. He also said it wasn't very serious but the first ding is a killer. Any Suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Kuip

Not to worry. I had worse then dings on my prop by hitting wingdams at various times. Didn't get it repaired until the "accumalation" of dings stsrted to affect boat performance.
