View Full Version : LOW-Did anyone catch anything?!
Just got back from Lake of the Woods and WOW was the fishing poor! Fished west of Rocky Point and Buffalo Bay. By the chatter on the radio we weren't the only boat that wasn't catching. We boated a 16# Northern and lost our only Walleye. Fished 18 hours Saturday and Sunday for one fish! Please tell me we weren't the only idiots that couldn't catch a fish!

Sorry to here 'bout your luck. My family and I were in the Sioux Narrows area May 31-June 5 and had good fishing. The walleyes were in 4-8ft. of water in the mornings and evenings caught several. Bass fishing was very good and of course the northerns were all over. Probably only spent a total of 15-20 hours fishing. Was just consistent enough fishing for my wife and 6 year old son to really enjoy the fishing. Not trying to rub it in. There were several times I've scratched my head!!! Maybe next time...

didnt get out of springsteel at all saturday,
sunday morning was not bad at all but the water
was very stirred up and turbid (nice word).
fishing sucked...fishing with my dad on the south
shore and buffalo point and didnt get a bite
sunday morning. i think it got a shade better
in the pm but we didnt fish..if the weather
would straighten out the fish are there and
would bite like crazy......
i am sure not much if anything was caught before
noon on sunday...
a friend of mine fished zipple on sunday and
wound up with 5 walleyes (again caught em in the
afternoon)
