My LMS 350A has been blowing fuses. It seems to happen when I am talking on my marine radio. Both units are wired to different batteries. Has anyone ran into a situation like this. The marine antenna is about 4 inches from the 350A. Do you think this could be causing a problem? Anyone with any help would be greatly appreciated.....thanks in advance.

It has to do with proximity of the 2. I have the same problem. I can't explain why. Move em or shut the 350 down or buy lots of fuses.

I had the exact same problem. I moved the vhf antennae cable as far as possible from the 350a cable and also put ferrite beads (available from Lowrance for about $5 shipping) on the 350a cables. This solved the problem, which can't be too uncommon, as it is specifically addressed on Lowrance's website. Try moving the cables, and if that doesn't do it, add the ferrite beads (I believe that they're just magnets encased in plastic).

I've had the same problem I found out my ant. Had a short in it. After changing ant. and testing with an OHM meter for short things are fine- all though every once in a while I will scramble the 350 screen when I key up. Also my ant. is about 6" from 350. Good Luck MOo
