Does anyone know of a good web site that can be used to get weather or lake conditions for Erie? It would be nice to know how the lake is or what to expect befor I make the 4 hr. drive.

Thanks,
Todd

www.wunderground.com (there is a direct link off WC mainpage.)Click on state you want: ex Ohio and get a list of cities. Those along the lake also have a marine forecast. Click the link for marine report at top of page. Also..walleye.com/ there is no www. in front of this link.
Curious where you drie 4hrs from and fish Erie at. I travel almost 3hrs.

Dean Clifton (Denied) has a site with links to weather conditions and forecasts.
#####://www.cliftond.com/ He provides an honest fishing report, too. I also use:

#####://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.phtml?$station=45005

Which is readings from the mid-lake bouy north of Vermillion. It links to a forecast for sections of all the Great Lakes. My experience has been actual conditions on the lake have not been as bad as the forecasts, but be careful.
