Kevin told me he mainly fished the gravel bars, it sounded like they fished many spots, but most of their fish came off of the gravel bars.
With the new slot limit on Mille Lacs there were a lot fewer fisherman fishing the mud flats than I have ever seen in a tournament, because most of the fish we were catching on the flats were too BIG.

I don't know the specifics, but judging by the radio traffic, a Ranger definitely had some major problems. The anglers involved ended up in the water (and fortunately they were picked up by another boat) and it sounded like the Ranger was towed back to Flagship by a launch boat. It certainly was rough out there Friday morning and I, too, would like to know exactly what happened.
