Lowrance 2.4 Upgrade-Does that Cover 2.3?

Lowrance is sending me the chip to upgrade my X-15 to 2.4. Currently, mine is at 2.2. My understanding from discussion on WC is that 2.4 mainly focuses on GPS issues, where as 2.3 addresses sonar issues. Seeing as my issues lie with the sonar, can I assume the 2.4 upgrade also includes the 2.3??

I am begiining to think I should dig out Dad's old green box out of the attic......

Ya sure you betcha! Once you get to 2.4 your good to go for all previous fixes.

Thanks David. You have been a lot of help thru this issue. If lowrance comes thru with the chip today, I am going to rewire the X-15 as well as relocate the transducer in hopes of a thumbs up by Sunday.
