Does anyone know the trolling depth of these lures? I couldn't find them in the Precision Trolling Guide.

Neal- Trolling these lures has shown Me they will run aprx.7`- 8` on a flatline troll, 80` back. This is with 10lb. Trilene. Good luck & Good fishing!Bob

The new Rapala Tackle Box Guide, available at tackle shops, provides different dive curve data than suggested by Bob. The data in the Rapala guide was generated by the folks at Precision Angling Specialists (Precision Trolling) in partnership with Rapala VMC Corp.

According to the trolling dive curve for a jointed Shad Rap (JSR05) in the Rapala Tackle Box Guide, it will be down 12 feet with about 80 feet of line out (based on 10 lb/.0134 inch diameter monofilament). The Ralpala Tackle Box Guide is specifically for Rapala lures. I have one and it is a good companion to the Precision Trolling "bible". It's well worth getting. Jay

I have hit bottom at 12ft with mine, but not much more, about 90-ft back, 10lb mono.

Haven't produced like I hoped this year, but I bet they will this fall!

Several posters have reported that the Rapala Tackle Box Guide is available in stores near them. I did a search on "rapala tackle box guide" and there were two different places where the book was discussed (Jun 22 and Jun 25 this year). One poster said he had got his at Fleet Farm. Another poster, Dacoder posted the Rapala lures addressed which I repeat below:
