Looking to purchase a Lowrance X65, X75 or LCG-2400. The LCG-2400 appears to be new for 2000. Looking for opinions/experience with any of these units.

Do you fish much at night?
If yes go with the X-75, if No goi with the 2400

The price of a Garmin 240 with the 3200 watts peak to peak is appealing as well.

I purchased the Lowrance 2400 this spring and have been very satisified. Reads well when the boat is on plane even if it is not in the fast track mode. I do use it for night fishing - it has a good back light.
