LIne at International Falls

I understand through the post below that the line at International Falls can get long. Does anyone have any information on how the line might be say on a Thursday at around 3:00 to say 5:00 o'clock. This is approximately when we will be crossing. Any info witll be greatly appreciated.

I try to get there early. I have been there in the afternoon and had the line be a couple hour wait. This is awful boring. We drive through the night and cross at 8 or 9 in the morning now and only have to wait for 1 to 5 cars most in front of us.

In the last five years we have found that getting across at 8 - 9 in the morning works very well. There are very vehicles waiting. Oh yes, we always cross on a weekday. Good luck!!

Our group will be crossing at about 4:00 - 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Am I correct in assuming the traffic will be light? I kinda doubt there will be too many people crossing at that time, but you never know.

KM; I just got back from Ontario last night. had a great time. We crossed at Pigeon River by Thunder Bay so we had no problem. To answer your question we cross at I-Falls every year with little trouble or wait. As you are doing we cross on Friday every time, usually mid-day to mid-afternoon and it works well for us. There may be a wait as late as 5:00 but it shouldn't be like it is on Sat.. Like I said we seldom have much of a wait crossing on Fridays. By the way we usually return on a week day also to avoid the weekend back-up. Enjoy your trip and....Good luck... Skeeter Boy
