everyone is saying the double downer lures are great with a couple a problems, the paint comes off when walleye hit them(which can't be to bad if they are hitting) and the cheap clip they put on them. Merrick tackle www.merricktackle.com has in their catalog page 200 under snaps and swivels nichel connection links that are used on the old hot n tots. The link needed is size 2 which are 1" long. Merrick tackle is a whole sale store only. They gave me a retailer who carries their products Summer Moon Rods 845-688-2016. These links come in packs of 144 at a cost of 18.95 plus shipping.
