I know I have seen an ad somewhere for a tool used to tune a crank bait. It is a little metal tube which has en end just large enough to fit over the eye of a crank. It allows you to bend the eye very easily.

Getting to be cranking time so would really, really, really like to find one. A needle nose just doesnt do it for me.

I have one of these for tuning musky baits. It is made by Joe Bucher from northern wisconsin. If you get on a musky site I'm sure you will find his website. I think that this one will work for walleye cranks also. It is a 3 or 4" metal tube with knurling on it. Really works well on the big baits.
Hope this helps.
