How many of you have seen that singing bass? Is that thing the most annoying thing in the world or is just me? thanks for the input.

Heard my wife talking to my son about a proposed birthday present, one of them possibly being the singing bass. I heard the term "do you think your dad goes for cute things?", it was returned!!Later when he asked me what I would have done with it if he had bought it I replyed, I know it can sing, but I wonder how it would swim in your pool?

Yes it is Tacky, and yes it drives me nut's! But man I wish I had the rights to sell these things! There will be one on every wall, in every trailer, in every trailer park south of the MN/ND border. Bet a few north of that as well? I expectb a turkey or a duck next! Maybe a catfish?

Yep , got one for my birthday.Bet you can't geuss from who either , my mother-in-law.And yes tacky and annoying as ##### , had to take out the batteries to keep my kid from playing it constantly.

Does anyone read Patrick McManus? He did a piece on this once. When people don't know what to get you for fathers day/birthday/Christmas, etc. they're simply told. "Just get him something outdoorsey." Every now and then I hear that from other family members, and their usually talking about me. Sends a chill up my spine because I just know I'm going to get something tacky and completely useless.

But why a singing bass? Why doesn't somebody come out with something more original like an Electronic Barfing Eelpout? THAT I would put on my wall! :D

We had one on the wall at the baitshop. Had it set up to go off when someone would walk by. Needless to say, it wasn't up there long! Although it got chuckles from the folks who had never seen it before, it got cringes from those of us who had to hear it a couple hundered times a day!

Got one as a fathers day "gag" gift from my sister in-law. She said "I know you are not my father but I couldn't resist".

But all of us have been guilty of gag gifts lately, the singing frog we got my mother in-law (she likes frog stuff) was worth a laugh as was this (green carp) Bass thing, to bad it's not a walleye.

Oh well every one got a good laugh, that's what counts, a good time, and family. :-)

It may be annoying, but try buying or finding one. Somebody is making alot of money of this "ANNOYING" thing. Need to have one made like a walleye singing the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction" or Creedance Clearwater Revival's " PROUD MARY". What do you guys think??? I BUY ONE IN A MINUTE.
