Does anyone know if that guy/group that does the Ranger "test rides" is still around? I'd kind of like to take a test ride in a 618T somewhere where there is the possibility of rougher seas (Mille Lacs, Leech or the like).

FWIW I was fishing on Winnibigosh this last week/weekend and saw a Ranger test drive boat on the water. I think it was an Angler?

I was on Winni last weekend as well, I wish I would have seen that boat, I plan on ordering an 1860 in the fall and want to go for a ride in a new one. I've been in a couple of 2007's but would like to see what the new consoles are like to drive with as far as visibility.

Please let me know what you find out. I have fished out of my FIL's 620t a lot and wanted to get a feel for what the 618t is like compared to it.

Yes we actually had two Testride boats on Winni 1860 Angler and 1850 Reata, doing a yearly fishing trip.

We will be having a two day Testride event this coming friday and Saturday out of Izatys Resort on Mille-Lacs. The boats that i currently have planned are 621/1860 Angler/1850 Reata and Z-521. I can look to see about getting a 618T but can't promise due to short notice.. Please call me to discuss.

I went over to Mille Lacs yesterday and did a test ride in an 1860 Angler. This is a great event, I talked to a lot of nice people and everyone was very informative with no pressure to buy anything. If your considering a Ranger and or E-tec I highly recommend getting to one of these events. I brought my wife and two young boys and they all had a blast, the final piece of the new boat puzzle is complete, my wife loved the boat!! The only problem I have is that I have to wait until Fall to Order my new one and Spring to pick it up!! It's going to be a long 10 months!!!
