Does anyone have any experience with this brand of reel? They appear to be quite well made and I'm looking at buying one. Any advice? Thanks.

Best and smoothess spinning reel I ever used. There ones that will last a life time. My be a bit higher price then some but worth it. The rods usually go with it.
Good Luck!!

I'll second that,

I have the Mega-lite 3000 and you cannot beat the drag on this reel. I like the fact I can remove the spool without messing with the drag setting. The Quest-lite is basically the same without the super drag. Cabelas has them on sale for $139

Bought the Ahab last year that came with a medium 6" rod. Very happy with and then I bought another with a 5.5' light action rod this year. Great on smallies. Also caught several 8-10 lbs northerns with both reels while fishing for smallies and the drags performed excellent.

I also love the reels. I have had one small problem creep up a couple of times. Every once in a while the gears seem to get jammed. This locks up the drag system also. I need to rotate the spool and shove the handle around to get it free. Wouldn't want to have a 10lber on when this happened.
