Jigging5:
Do you have a Tundra? Let me know if you do. I have a couple questions about how your is making it through the year.
Mine has been good outside of the rigging problems.
Thanks

Jpo,
I apologize for the late reply somehow I missed your question. My Tundra has been outstanding just a pleasure to fish from. What type of rigging problems have you been experiencing? And feel free to ask any questions you like. I will try to answer them. The only thing I wish is the 21' Tundra was out when I bought mine although my 18' has plenty of room. Love that boat. All the promoting I have done for this boat you would think I was a Tracker rep. Maybe I should approach them for a sponsorship? I have helped them with 3 sales that I know of. Good fishing!

It has been the best boat I have ever Owned. I love the fishability and the way it handles any type of water.
The Rigging problems have been outragous. First, they put a hole through the hull installing the battery mounts. Second, the missed wired the trolling motor (in the shop three times). Third, the gas line has a chink in it from missinstalling the motor. Fourth, they installed old batteries. We dyed sitting on lake sharp in SD in may. All of thses thing really pissed me off.
You spend that kind of money on your boat and right out of the shoot it craps out on you.
The boat however is the Best!!
Send me an e-mail if you would like @ opiedotnet@msn.com
Thanks for the response
Josh

Did the dealer install your motors or did they come from the factory that way. Must be the starting battery mount you are talking about? How did they drill through the hull? The old batteries would piss me off also and having the boat back to the shop three times for the electric motor maybe its time for a new dealer/service. I replaced the electric motor on mine with a more powerful one and found the wires to be stripped three inches behind the connections not good on a metal boat so I checked every wire in the boat and found no other problems. Sorry to here about your problems I hope they have all been resolved under warranty. It may have been a quality control issue at the factory or your boat was built on friday Ha Ha. I think this boat compares with the best. I know I wouldn't buy any other make. I will email you later to see how it's going ENJOY THAT BOAT!
Oh one other problem the boat is white Lake Erie and Chautauqua have been rough on it's looks. Sure looks nice when it's clean though.

Everything has been resolved and I am really happy now. I have the peuter color.
The hole that was drilled into the hull was in the bow battery area.
Hey one question for ya.... Are you having trouble gettin your spinning rods in the bow rod storage tubes? I can't fit my loomis' in there...Ya in know and my dimond shoes are killing my feet... But it is kind of frustrating.
Thanks buddy!! Good to hear from another person of fine taste!!

I don't own a Tundra but, it was on the "A" list until I decided to go much larger. With 6 in my family that all love going out, we decided to go with something that has an enclosed head. I know that I'll miss the trailer boat right after ice out and before ice up. I'm calling around now trying to get a dock for the WC fall get-together. When I go back to a trailer boat or, just can't stand it anymore, the Tundra will still be on my "A"list. I've seen several at the shows and it looks like a tremendous boat. I'm sure that the amenities will be worked out over time. When they first came out, many on this board took a lot of heat for supporting this boat. My hat's off to a company that's willing to step out and offer this type of improvement in technology. It should just get better with time.
