I wanted to start a thread listing where everyone buy's their supplies. We all know abour Janns Netcraft, and Hagens, but is there a special place where you go to get building supplies.I'm not doing this to advertise so if your trying to push someplace I will delete it.I want to create a resource for all members of HGT to use for tackle craft.

What do you think????

Any ideas on how to approach this would be awesome!!!!

Any tackle supply sponsers of the site need to be listed!!!

Come on and help Crazy out God knows he needs it!!

Thanks,
FC

Cabelas TackleCraft is a pretty good little catalog that they send out. If you do not get it you should inquire about it.

I buy most of mine from grand river bait and tackle. Small local shop with great sevrice and better bait. I just bought 100 crawlers for 12.00, not sure if they ship though.

I wanted to gear this thread towards places everyone could use.Check it out and see if they have an online outlet or a catalog.

If you are in the MPLS area Thorne Bro. is a good supplier. If you are on line Barlows is a good supplier.

They are not the cheapest, but if your using createx paints there is most likely a Hobby Lobby close by to buy some paints and air brush parts.

Hobby Lobby for beads on custom crawler harness.

Jolly Roger Tackle for snells and custom blades.

Hagens Fishing components in Mitchell SD.

I have not tried a ton of different places, I found they have good volume discounts. Some of the volumes are pretty large, but they will break them down. Hook prices are very good for quality hooks.

And after you order from them, they send a catalog once a year, good bedstand book...

Hobby Lobby ! Now there's an idea I've never considered. Thanks!

I usually shop around for the best prices when I need something. Barlows, Hagans, Janns, Stevens etc. I WISH we had a Thorne Bros or similar shop close by.

I bought 6 Lures for Janns, I was pulling in a 30+incher the other day and it bit my hook off, I noticed they use lite leaser material, I was upset, I m going to restring them with 12lbs Fluoro.

Thanks

"Beading", as a women's hobby has caused many stores to stock beads of a size usable for spinner rigs. Hobby Lobby, as mentioned, and K-Mart, WalMart, etc.

www.doitmolds.com (http://www.doitmolds.com) has all the molds/hooks/forms. Good selection of paint and parts. Good selection of tools as well. They now carry several different lead melters for example.

Forgot to mention do-it customer service. Had a mold break during casting. One phone call and the new one was at my door in 2 days.
