LMS 350A

My screen has a white haze on the outside that makes viewing difficult, probably from sun exposure. Has anyone else had this and how can you clean the screen without damaging it? Thanks

On one of mine it seems like the screen is peeling off a layer
of some kind of coating also making it hard to view....I cant
get rid of it but the unit still works good so I am not sending
it in for $275 for a new screen (yet).

Anyone have a home remedy for this?

mine has a film on it also...and some white spots......tried using plastic cleaner that you use on see thru plastic curtains on the boat but did not help. It's still viewable though.

maybe Lowrance will read this and come up with economical suggestion.

It took a little elbow grease but this stuff fix my screen problem.

Try Mother or Novus Plastic polish both will work. Novus has a kit. Punch in plastic polish in your favorite search engine and compare brands. Many of the manufacturers have online sales. Good luck.

For all of you that have a LMS350 the news is not good. I had a problem with mine while in Mn. called Lowrance and was told they could no longer fix the 350.All I needed to do was reset the unit. Hit the clear and power buttons at the same time til unit comes on this is not in the mannual.

Yes, I got the the re-set code a few years ago for my eagle accura
..I have used it more than a couple times on the LMS 350As. The
eagle would lose the waypoints with a re-set (I think) the 350a
does not.
