My otterboats seem to be runing to far back for me and are not pulling as hard to the side as I had hoped when I got them. I set the ropes the way the directions said to but they still do not pull as hard as I think they should at slow speeds like 1-1 1/2 mph. Anyone able to help on tuneing them at slower speeds. Thanks for any info.

Mike Steffes ex of Big Jon now on his own with Fishlander set me up with dual keels for my otter boats. The weight on the second keel is about half the size of the original. They pull very well at slow speeds. I don't know if you can still get the second keel from big Jon but worth the call. Rick H.

Find some old water skis and use the keels off them.
