Hey WAZ!!! Glyde Ryde's effect on Ranger hull warrantee

I emailed Ranger asking them if Glyde Rydes voided the hull warrantee. I got a phone call from Tim Houk , Ranger National Director of Service, and he was very clear that there was no problem with Glyde Rydes, and their installation had no effdect on the hull warrantee.

Please make an effort to look into what you post on this board. You only discredit yourself by putting out erronious information.

Thanks Jim for clearing that up.. I have too much interaction with Ranger mgt to think there was anything to that. That rumour has been floating around for quite some time. We really should identify a source for information like that. You are right in saying something like that can be damaging. I also wish we were required to sign off a post with our name.....for example, John Estes

Glyde Ryder I'd register but I'm somewhat computer challenged. Tried to register acouple of times didn't work out for me. It's hard enough for me typing with one finger. Didn't take typing when I was in school, it was kinda a girls thing back then. Been posting for 3 or 4 years. Many people know who I am. I'm glad I brought up this discussion I hope it clears things up. I have been running Glyde Rydes for 2 years, very satistfied with the seats (outside the occasional spring pop)and John Estes is a super nice stand up guy. Only problem with John you can't get him to shut up.(not a bad thing)). Looking forward to getting the Gorilla seats on my new boat next season. If you want to know which dealer I got the info from call or write me;

Wasyl!!! Its me-John Estes , Ol' Blabber mouth himself. Yeah, I do like to talk dont I. You should see my 800 phone bill. I'm really too tired to fight with a dealer over something like that. I'm sitting here trying to figure out what other part of the boat the Glyde Rydes could effect. Maybe I'm having a brain fart, but I can't think of what you may be referring to. Kindly let me know. Mr. Houk stated, they do not guarantee any after market products, but Glyde Rydes have no effect on the warrantee. I guess I added the hull part assuming that was your concern.

I too am glad you brought it up, as most rumors don't stand up very well to scrutiny. Good luck.
