do any of you guys have the boat buddy on your trailer
if so do you like it and does it work reliably
do you know if they can be used with a roller trailer

I bought one several years ago and still have it on my trailer. Of course it doesn't work. Problem is, if you drive your boat on the trailer, which is what it is designed for, and hit it too hard it bends the spring-loaded pin, then it doesn't work. If it wasn't such a pain in the butt to change the bow-eye I would have sent it back ( the kit comes with a deeper bow-eye ). Plus it comes with a large rubber pad that replaces the bow roller. I like it because it lessens the chance of hitting the winch uprights when driving on the trailer. Definately not worth the money.
