I happened across an article about the Rogue fishing rod company.
It is a start up company, that is up to about 1,000 rods a month.
Apparently there have been quite a few defections from G Loomis, since G Loomis was sold to Shimano in 1997.
I checked out their web page, and they offer a complete range of fishing rods, for everything from ultra light, walleye, bass, steelhead as well as salt water rods.
I have never seen one anywhere, but the talk on some of the articles that I have read, indicate that the qualites are similar to the G Loomis and St. Croix at 30 - 50% less price.
I am wondering if any one has one, fished with one, or even seen one.
They are located in Oregon, near the Rogue River - hence the name of the company.
Take care
