I have seen both of these lures on the market and have heard great things about the reef runners but have heard nothing about the walleye runners. Are there any differences between the two? If anyone out there has used one or both of these lures and can offer some insight it would be appreciated.

I have used many brands of lures over my lifetime. There are times when different lures will sometimes out produce others, but for day in, day out use I have to give the nod to Reef Runners selection of crankbaits. I have been nothing less than totally impressed with the new "Deep Little Ripper". I don't think I'll worry about what Rapala does with the Thunderstick, I've got something else to use now! Good Luck FROGMAN

The walleye runner in Cabelas is Scott Stecher's original design. Through some unfortunate situations that mold ended up as the property of another who later sold it to Cabelas. They have the lure produced overseas to sell in their catalog. The new Reef Runners are quite different in looks ,action and colors. Yes I have used both, and in my humble opinion the Reef Runner is vastly superior. Hope this helps.

Frogman, The lure hasn't been on the market and on fishermen's lines long enough to make statements like that. The Hot-n-Tot, with a 25 year track record has my vote for ALL Around #1, with Rapalas of various makes and models a close #2.
