My vote would go for Scott Peters. The tourney is in his back yard. So he has a lot of knowledge of the river. He's also pretty old so he's been on that river for a long long time. Get em Scotty!!!

I ran into Scotty a couple days ago, and at that time, he wasn't entered yet. He said he was a first alternate, but they hadn't called him in yet.

If Scott is a river rat, he should have an advantage - especially if he is Mississippi river rat. This time of the year, the walleye like to start staging on very specific wing dams - we stopped on a dam last weekend after duck hunting and found 3 nice fish (17,17.5 and 19in) in less then 25 minutes - enough for supper!! Small one caught on a Wally Diver and the other two on Willow cats. Missed the last fish of the day...heavy bugger...felt the hook scrape the teeth as it came out...should have let her eat the kitty a little longer!!!

Skarlis is a river rat and a great jig fisherman. He will be one to watch.
The bite is not good rite now. I was up all weekend helping some friends. A lot of boats runing all over but not much for legal sized walleye. Hopefully things get better this week.

Tommy Skarlis should win it. The Glorvigans, probably Scott, might be a big suprise.
Glad to see Scott Peters made it in. I spent a day this last summer fishing with him at a PWT on Leech Lake. He's good.

I do think that most of the top guns all have a great chance. John Campbell has been up there for several tourneys and just has not pulled off the big one ('cept for the PWT win). I've fished with John several times and he's due.
