i got some info here a few weeks back on weaning my pups off the mom early, the pups are a few days past 3 weeks so i went and got some puppy fomula for weaning, followed all directions and the pups loved it only problem is now the little ones are constipated, called the vet and they said try mineral oil up the rear and down the throat, did everything i was told but it seems they still can,t go, there are a few who managed to go but all in all they are still bound up, any body have any idea,s cause my next move is take em to the vets and get them all a enama.

Shadowman, I had a formula for pups that has Karo syrup in it.... that i've used with a lot of success in the past. The Karo keeps the pups from binding up. Also did he tell you how to get them to do their business after feeding them???????? If you want to know more and if you want the formula.... email me at vjohnson@twcny.rr.com
and I'll see if I can find the formula.

Warm some milk with a bit of karo syrup and do it as soon as possible as this can poison the little devils if it goes on to long. Hope this helps I know what vet bills are like. Good luck.

Make sure you use the dark karo syrup. I guess you guys never prepared formula for babies. You do the same thing to keep them from binding up.
Found it... sent it... along with a little advice. Hope it isn't too late???????????
