Hey Guys,
I was told this past weekend that Gander Mountain will be carrying a small selection of St.Croix jig poles in thier ice fishing set. There's talk that they'll be AVID quality....doubtful on a lifetime warranty....price should be right around 30-35 bucks.

I have two of these rods I bought in 1991 they are the best jiggin rods I have ever used. Thanks for the info because I will be buying two more!

Thet were 29.95 in 1991 I imagine they are 40 bucks now. they are very sensitive at the tip but have enough backbone for the big hogs.I can feel the fish hit my bait on the drop, I like that. I am sure you will find different opinons but they work good for me.

Am buddies with the St. Croix rep. and got to see the new rods a few days ago. They are really nice. I especially like the light action crappie rod. I can guarantee they won't last long on the shelves...

They are priced very reasonably at 29.99, for that price I'd rather buy the Avids than the Genz lightning rods.
