View Full Version : If you had squirrels in your attic, would you just leave them alone and let them live there?

I've never had them your way but the legs deep fried and covered with a Buffalo style chicken wing sauce are excellent.

Well Eric, I came down from the attic and got on Walleye Central when you were not looking. I see how you really are. And I found out what happend to cousin Barky. I thought we had a little game going here, and I thought it was all in fun; after all, I gotta live someplace too. But now I see all these nasty things you have called me, and it's ceased to become a game to you, so I'm pulling out all the stops. Better call your insurance company and warn them. You think a a little doodoo on the boat was bad.... You ain't seen nothing yet. I'm going down to the city park to get some recruits and the rest of cousin Barky's family. Maybe you better think twice about going to sleep tonight.

P.S. that peanut butter trick was pretty cute, but you should have known that peanuts aren't really nuts so I didn't fall for it.

Sweet dreams!!!!!!!

Brown them first then toss them in the crock, tasty vitels.

The hard part is skinning them critters, they make ya work for it.

And by the way, if you don't turn down that so-called music, I'm going to chew up that CD.

Eric,
You’ve gone “squirrelly” on this whole thing. Some people here on WC are concerned that you’ve gone “nuts”. Quick, look in the mirror. Are you seeing any physical changes? Are your eyes getting beady and red? Are you starting to store-up more antidotes for the coming winter? You’ve become obsessed with this whole thing. Someone close needs to trap you and take you walleye fishing. ;-)

I was wondering why my neighbors have all started to stay away from me ever since they saw me creeping around decked out in Mossy Oak Camo and carrying a jar of peanut butter and a butcher knife. LOL!!!

Caddyshack comes to mind . . .
LMAO on this squirrel stuff. It's a light-hearted change from the gun control stuff.

I've got a cousin living in Colorado and he has told me that most of the natives there have squirrels in their attic!! Something like being a couple french fries short of a happy meal?? lol..happy hunting!

PS is it required to have current hunting licenses and squirrel stamps?

Colorado has a "Make My Day Law" that allows homeowners to kill humans if they come in to your house unwanted. I am applying this law to the rats as well.

Squirls are a pain in the neck! My favorite bow hunting spot is loaded with black, grey, and fox squirls. Last year towards the end of the bow season I had had enough and put up the bow one day and took out the shotgun. It took a whole 10 minutes to limit out on the noisy tree rats. The following weekend back in the tree stand I could not even tell that I had killed 5 of them within 30 yards of my stand. They just keep coming and rustling around in the dry leaves.

My mothers next door neighbor had one break into his house while he was in northern Michigan squirl hunting. Kind of funny. It trashed his kitchen pretty good. He got mad and starting trapping and shooting them in his yard. I think he was up to 30 something the last I heard. This was not a rural area either. And the nearest nut producing tree is probably over a mile away.

The only thing they have to watch out for in residential communities is young kids with pellet guns. Probably cars also.

They are smart critters to. At my house they tease the heck out of my german shorthair. Drives the dog crazy. They will just hang on the tree about 6 or 7 feet off the ground and just flick their tails at the dog and dare him to try and climb the tree.
