Lowrance's response: There was a software issue in the earlier
models concerning current, if you will download the latest software upgrade off our website, listed below, it will correct your problem of blowing fuses.
Better yet, my current (no pun intended) LMS-240 works great. I got the first one in early August. My current unit, which is now 6 days old and was boated hard for 3 days, has the latest v 1.5 software.
