Gander Mtn has a nice price on Helly Hansen raingear. I realize it's not GuideWear calibre, but has anyone used it? Did you like it?

The jacket I have with hood that folds into the collar is OK for casual wear -- But, it's more properly called "water resistant," rather than "waterproof." It was touted as rain wear, but calling it rain proof doesn't make it rain proof.

Read any descriptions of Helly-Hanson rain gear carefully. They use a lot of pvc-coated cloth. Very waterproof, unless you count the sweat trapped inside the suit with you. I don't recall ever seeing any H-H Gore-Tex or similar clothing. They may make it, but I've never seen it.
