Cranberry Creek Ramp

The Cranberry creek marina has been taken over by new owners, they contacted me and said that the ramp would be free for the w/c tourney fisherpeople this year also. remember that this ramp is made for smaller boats right now. i was there sunday afternoon, and i saw some 18 footers being taken out with no problem. it is a little steep, and kind of tight , but the owner told me that the ramp is first on the list to be ready for next year. he has been opening the channel almost every third day right now, so you should be able to clear with no problem. just remember with a super south wind, it can still get a little shallow everywhere. welcome aboard Bob Hanko to the walleye central gang. thanks for the use of the ramp. He also said there should be a mechanic on duty that weekend of the outing, he may have some dock space too, i cant remember about that. good luck in the future. good luck and good fishin.

I stand corrected on my discription of Cranberry Creek. I haven't launched there in 2 years. It was quite shallow at times in the past, especialy with a stiff south wind blowing water out. Thanks for the update.

No problem toolman, they just took the marina over in the last few weeks. it should be a good one again , but like a lot of things, it will take some time to rebuild things back up. good luck and good fishin.
