I'm truely looking at a fiberglass mount, do any of you have any? Of course its too late I have already released a 33 inch walleye but I was wondering if it is worth the money and how do they compare in price to the real thing? If I would have kept it.. Thanks

I caught and released a 30 incher a couple of years ago. I measured the girth-length and took photos before I did. I had a reproduction made up and it looks great. Can hardly tell the difference from real. I am totally pleased with the results.

Artistic Angler in Duluth Minnesota has done 2 for me, a walleye and a musky. I am absolutely sold 100% on these replicas, somewhat more expensive, but supurb and they will stay that way! I am sure real mounts are continually improving, but take a look at any with age to them and you will see what I mean by not lasting. Some people will not have a replica because its not the real thing, but for me it works just fine.

Artistic Anglers is the way to go. You should be able to find them with a web search. Matt Vernatich is the guy to talk to. Great work. More expensive than a traditional mount but they will last and not fade, crack, peel over time. My dad has an eye from Artistic Anglers that is over 15 years old and looks as good as the day he got it. Many people don't know it is a replica unless he tells them.
Nice Catch,

I third the vote for Artistic Anglers. I had a walleye done a couple of years ago and it looks great.
A fiberglass mount will run a little more, maybe $100. This is because they need to purchase the fiberglass cast. All the artistry work is the same as a normal mount. They paint everything.
Contact Ron Lax at Conover, WI. They do have a web site but I am not sure of the address. It will run approximately $10 an inch.

Where is this Artistic Anglers located? And what do they charge an inch? How would Fiber Tech be? Has anybody tried them? Thanks for the reply's

Artistic Anglers is in Duluth, MN I believe. I've used both Fiber Tech and Artistic Anglers. Both do nice work but the AA work was nicer on the ones I've seen side by side. I think rates are around $11 / inch. If getting it in a hurry is important then Fiber Tech is the way to go as they will deliver much quicker than AA. My next mount will be from AA.
