Can anyone refer me to a breeder they have had a good experience with in Denver where I can get Chocolate Lab?

So you girlfriend is getting tried of fishing is she? Are you going to use this dog for hunting, or just to keep you company in the boat? I think there is a breeder just east of Pueblo...I'll do some checking for you.

Is that the Bar/None or something like that breeder? They want over $700 for a puppy. Yikes!

I don't need the dog to be an expert hunter, just don't want her to get too far in front and to attempt to find wounded birds since I only graze them most of the time. LOL

Brooks Kennels in Denver. Linda has Chocolates, yellows and blacks. You will find them to be great dogs. Not too tall, but wide and big. Had one of her dogs. She guarantees hips, etc.

Call me and i will get you in touch with my brother in law in Windsor, he has had a couple in the last 12 to 15 years and they have been good dogs. I have had the privlage (spelling) of hunting with them and they are excellant retreivers. Darrell
